It is shown that the features of collisions depend strongly on the grain radius composing planetesimals. When two planetesimals collide each other at speed about 10 m/s, they are broken into pieces of grain radius of 0.1 micrometer. Since tensile strength of a planetesimal increases inversely proportional to the grain radius, the collisional displacement is reduced with decreasing grain radius. It is found that planetesimals consisting of grains of 0.1 micrometer or smaller are not destroyed by collisions., 資料番号: AA0063352024}, pages = {90--93}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {SPH simulation of collisions of grain aggregates}, year = {1995} }
