We adopt a non-linear elastic-plastic model, which is more realistic than the plastic-rigid model used in previous works. We found that the peak stress attenuates rapidly in the region where the stress becomes comparable to the material strength. This is considerably different from the previous estimate which claims the attenuation becomes slow there as in the case of ideal gas. The rapid attenuation is due to double shock and rarefaction structure, which is characteristic to elastic-plastic material, and the attenuation rate is almost independent of material parameters., 資料番号: AA0063352026}, pages = {98--101}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {Numerical simulation of shock attenuation in solids}, year = {1995} }
