There are 12 meteorites or meteoritic materials in Mongolia (Mongolian People's Republic), however only six specimens are recognized as true meteorite. They are three irons and three stony meteorites including one achondrite-ureilite. Three irons are all finds and named as Adzhi-Bogdoll (582 kg), Manlai (167 kg) and Sarigiin Gobi (17.5 kg) in order of findings. Three stones are all falls and classified as LL3-6 chondritic breccia (Adzhi-Bogdol, 910 g), H6 chondrite (Tugalin Bulen, about 10 kg) and ureilite (Jalanash, almost 700 g) in order of fall.
