Hirosaki Bunka Center), Hirosaki, Aomori, Japan, A validation of a CFD code for transonic unsteady flow is important to the aeroelastic design of an aircraft. The wind-tunnel test was performed at the Transonic Wind-tunnel Gottingen to measure the unsteady pressure distributions in the DLR - JAXA cooperative frame work. A two-dimensional wing which has NLR-7301 profile was excited in pitching and flap motion. The test results measured in the adaptive wall test cart ware compared with the NS analysis with free stream boundary condition.
