The method is based on introducing artificial density diffusion in a physically-consistent manner in order to capture the transcritical thermodynamic jump robustly, while solving a pressure evolution equation to achieve pressure equilibrium. The unique thermodynamic and transport properties (real fluid effects) are tabulated by using NIST database, and the tabulated look-up table is used to estimate accurate thermodynamic and transport properties in the simulation.
