The emitted contamination compounds can stick to the optical device surface and degrade its performance. It can result in the mission failure finally. In addition, it is considered that the contamination compounds on the space equipment surface other than the optical device surface can be vaporized and stick to the optical device surface in vacuum. Therefore, the management of contamination compounds emitted from the antistatic packing material is very important.
