LNG has better characteristics for rocket fuel, i.e. longer storage, lower cost and non-toxic. In particular, when applying LNG engine for booster stage of reusable launch vehicle (RLV), the vehicle size can be smaller and fuel cost can be reduced. Therefore, we have been studying on LNG engine for RLV.
