By arranging the two models parallel in the same direction and changing the distance and the angle of attack in the range where alpha is greater than or equal to -12 and less than or equal to 12 deg, six aerodynamic force coefficients were measured and compared with the coefficients for a single model. The aerodynamic forces of the upper second stage plane model varied a short distance behind the shock waves of the partner plane.
