The angle section and the T-section stiffeners were tested at room temperature and at 300 C. For the angle section stiffeners, the drop in the buckling strength at 300 C was less than five percent compared with the room temperature test results when the aspect ratio is greater than four, and the drop in the final failure strength was less than 15 percent. The predicted buckling strengths of the specimen with the mechanical fixture were close to the test results. For the T-section stiffeners, the primary objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the corner radius at a flange-web junction on buckling and on final failure strength.
