The concept engine consists of two subunits, a core engine and a fan engine which are separated from each other. The results of the conceptual study show that this engine has many potential advantages over the current turbofan engines in many respects, including stability of operation and flexibility of configuration, and it also has other applications such as in advanced VTOL transport
