Tower Hall Funabori), Tokyo, Japan, We show a research plan toward unsteady analysis of high-attack-angle separated flow. Although the separated flow is still a challenging problem for CFD, prediction technology of separation is necessary to improve CFD capability and expand applications in the flight envelope. Our research plan consists of (1) parallel automatic grid generation and (2) highly-accurate unsteady flow analysis with unstructured grid. In this paper, we also review buffet analyses using URANS or RANS/LES hybrid methods and show the current problems to be solved.
