And its technology has been used in most fields. However, there is shortage in educational and analytical document on the principle of the satellite navigation, various methods of the positioning, and basic theory of the positioning accuracy evaluation. Here, it debated in order to understand well the principle of the satellite navigation. In this transaction, the GPS positioning device was estimated as a future indispensable system, and simulation result was deduced. First, the principle was discussed, and the satellite navigation was formulated. In the latter half, the relationship between ground support and precise positioning were examined by the typical example of satellite navigation. And the theoretical congruity for the coexistence of asynchronous positioning and clock synchronization positioning, which was an origin of research in satellite navigation, was obtained.
