This research shows that the return flight path can be deduced from the gliding performance, which is determined by the Lift/Drag ratio (L/D), where L/D is controlled by the angle of attack, the speed brake angle and the bank angle, and that an algorithm to determine the return flight path corridor depending on the gliding capability of the vehicle can be
