Tetramethyltetrathiafulvalene (TMTTF) - Tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) crystal in which TMTTF is donor and TCNQ is acceptor was selected as organometal. The crystal growth was made by reacting TMTTF and TCNQ in anisole solution by means of diffusion method in a mini size cell and a big size cell. The aims of the experiments are to observe the process of crystal growth for the mini size cell and to make crystal possible to measure properties of crystal for the big size cell. The results of the experiments are as follows: in the mini size cell, the records on the process of crystal growth were not obtained. Color of the solution became thinner than color at the time of injection, while the seed crystal completely disappeared; and in the big size cell, crystals were not obtained at all. Color of solution did not almost varied compared with color at the time of injection. The shape of seed crystal was entirely same as the shape at the time of injection, and the seed crystal did not appeared. As is above mentioned, the experiments of crystal growth failed both for mini size cell and big size cell. As a part of investigations on causes of the fail, the absorption spectrum of solution was measured for both cells, and from analysis of the spectrum, the cause of decrease of concentration of the solution for the mini size cell and the cause of constancy of concentration of the solution for big size cell were
