The blade tip includes the subwing which reduces BVI (Blade Vortex Interaction) noise by dividing the tip vortex into a pair of vortices. The wind tunnel test using several types of tip shape is conducted on the non-rotating condition. One of them is a canard tip, which has two subwings and is based on the concept of advanced fighter's canard wing. From the results of wake surveys using a system of a five-hole yaw meter affixed to a wake traverser, the canard tip shows the effective results of the diffusion of wing tip vortex by the interaction
