Three kinds of airfoil have been calculated and the comparison between numerical results and experimental data show good agreement in the region of low angle of attack. Overestimation of stall angle and maximum lift has observed in case of full turbulence condition, however, the overestimation can be overcome by setting transition points appropriately. In this paper the effect of transition point on separation type and stall angle is investigated and the results show the ability of algebraic turbulence model to predict airfoil
