Ten teams presented their results and eight teams submitted computed data. Three experimental results of stall characteristics of trailing edge separation (A1), leading edge separation (A2), and thin air foil separation (A3) were compared with simulation results, which are given in the respective team's paper. Due to short time of preparation, full comparison was not made and left for later presentation on the web. Each team used various equations, analytical methods, or turbulent models. Many teams assumed full turbulence. Those which used natural transition could not obtain good results. As for thick airfoil A1, all teams obtained results of the trailing edge separation and their stall angles were almost the same, 15 to 17 deg. This is due to the transition of real fluid near the leading edge. As for A2 airfoil type, they obtained diverse results, namely leading edge stall or trailing edge stall. As for A3 thin airfoil, they also obtained various results. In the future, the following topics should be investigated: (1) to calculate the boundary layer containing transition; (2) to obtain quantitative Reynolds number effect; and (3) to establish the appropriate evaluation method of turbulent models in the large scale separation
