The progress of the development and the future plan are described. It is expected from the preliminary measurements using a 0.5 mm heated calibration cell that the detection limits of 3 and 30 ppm-m are attained for NO2 and NO, respectively, at a mixture temperature 500 C. The simultaneous detection of NO and NO2 in a simulated hot jet from a rectangular nozzle of 0.5 m optical path was conducted.
