The general principle for numerical conformal mapping is stated, i.e., the mapping function is supposed to be the sum of a known principal term and an unknown correction term. The former gives the zeroth approximation and the latter is so determined that the desired mapping is obtained. Examples are shown for the configurations of periodic simply connected regions, cascades and inlets. |
