It begins with an account of methods for numerical grid generation techniques. Emphasis is placed on techniques which have already been used successfully on practical problems or appear to have such potential. A brief review of approaches for accerelation of convergence, i.e., the pseudo-unsteady methods and the multi-grid methods, is also presented. A new explicit method is devised for solving the Navier-Stokes equations for unsteady compressible viscous flow.
