Also, CFD activities in Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd. are introduced. To obtain full merit of CFD in design, the interactive manner of use is very important. Much more high computing speed is needed, also, more flexible in-out system, too. In FHI, 2D/3D Euler, 2D/3D N-S codes were developed and in operation since several years ago. Also, many codes of panel method, potential method, and Newtonian flow method, are in use. These CFD tools are very effective in design. FHI is still making efforts to get more refined and quick systems.CFD is very high technology, so effort in the aircraft maker have some limitation.
