| 内容記述 | On the boundary-layer receptivity, the present paper describes the results of numerical simulations and laboratory experiments to clarify the condition under which external disturbances such as sound and free-stream turbulence can excite Tollmien-Schlichting waves. The most important finding is that the unsteady pressure gradient on the wall imposed by the external disturbance need to have such proper spatial scales as to match lambdaTS, the wavelength of T-S wave to be excited In this case, the unsteady pressure gradient induces the vortical wave of the proper scale and then Tollmien-Schlichting wave. | |||||||||
