The apparatus consists of a piston driving mechanism and a rolling drive mechanism which are controlled by a hydraulic servo system : the former is mainly used for the measuremet of pitching and yawing derivatives and the latter is capable of giving various kind of derivatives, including rolling derivatives, by use of a bent rotary sting and a rotary sting with attack angles. The specifications are as follows : the maximum amplitudes of oscillation at 10 Hz are 1ー for pitching motion and 2 cm for plunging motion, and the maximum rolling rate is 62.8 rad/sec. The operation of the system was studied and the oscillating characteristics were improved. For further refinement of the technique, additional descriptions are given concerning a light model made of FRP, electrical cancellation of the inertia effect, and a data processing device., 資料番号: NALTM0174000, レポート番号: NAL TM-174}, title = {遷音速風胴動安定測定装置の構造と作動}, year = {1970} }
