Major objectives of the test program were as follows, (1) to determine the frequency response of the swivel angle of the engine. (2) to find out the effect of the fuel and oxygen pipes connected to the engine for the swivel angle of the engine, and the effect of bearing friction of the gimbal system. By a series of tests, the following experimental results were obtained : (1) Some quantitative measure of the differences between the frequency response of the swivel angle during firing and without firing due to the increase of pressure of the fuel and oxygen pipes, and also due to bearing friction under thrust load, was determined.
