A two-dinensional experimental model combustor with minor changes, including the number of tubes and the air flow rate introduced in the primary combustion zone, was tested. The results showed the effects of the number of tubes on combustion efficiency, exit temperature profiles, and on other characteristics. Since the combustion efficiency charac- teristics of the model were closely related to the fuel supply rate, it was found that the performance could be generalized in terms of non-dimensional fuel supply rates.
