The estimated parameters consisted of the vertical position of the model′s center of gravity, the inertia moments Ix, Iy and Iz, and the product of inertia Ixz. The method was based on a bifilar pendulun system and estimation errors were evaluated. As a result, the moment of inertia Iy and Iz were estimated within an about ±1% error, although Ix and the product of inertia Ixz had larger errors.
