内容記述 | The purposes of this paper are to construct several finite difference methods of explicit type for initial-boundary-value problems, which are considered appropriate for numerical integrations of the one-and the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations for unsteady compressible flow, and to compare and to evaluate them through theoretical and numerical studies on the properties of the difference methods. To do so, both the von Neumann conditions on stability and the consistency conditions on accuracy are obtained. On the other hand, the stability, the accuracy and the calculational efficiency of the difference methods are evaluated through numerical experiments on one-and two-dimensional shock-tube-flow. Thus, it is found that the difference methods which have looser stability conditions have more severe consistency conditions which reflect worse accuracy. This fact is proved by the numerical calculation. It is also found, for the two dimensional case, that the differential equations of non-conservative form have much better efficiency for calculation than those of conservative form. The time-dependent flow field patterns around a semi-infinite plate, which is settled on the center line of the two dimensional shock tube, are successfully sketched numerically by means of the difference methods constructed in the present work. | |||||||||
