The disturbing function due to the solar radiation pressure is expanded in an infinite series in terms of osculating elliptic elements. Neglecting the coupling effects between the oblateness of the earth and the solar radiation pressure, perturbations of the first order are obtained. The shadow equation is expressed by means of the quadric equation in terms of rectangular coordinates and the limits of integration are obtained by solving the shadow equation analytically.
