 note = {The concept of an analog loading system utilizing an active element was developed. This system is capable of generating a loading effect as a function of displacement, and its first and second derivatives with arbitary coefficients. Based upon this concept, actual hard-ware has been developed consisting of electric elements and a hydraulic servomechanism of the pressure control type with a large underlap servo valve(prototype model). Experiments were carried out by driving the system externally to obtain the static and dynamic characteristics.
