| 内容記述 | As a part of the rocket engine test facilities installation program at the National Aerospace Laboratory, the construction of a high altitude test facility was started in April 1970, and completed in March 1973. The exhaust system of the facility consists of a two-stage steam ejector and supersonic diffusers connected to liquid and solid rocket engine test capsules respectively. The system has capabilities of performing high altitude tests of liquid rocket engines up to 10 tons thrust and of solid rocket motors up to 5 tons thrust. Special considerations have been given to the accuracy of data acquisition and safety. The simulated altitude for a facility test engine of 5 tons thrust was approximately 30 km(ca.10 torr in environmental pressure). This report presents the details of planning, structure and function, and test results of the facility. | |||||||
