The results of theoretical analysis by the transfer matrix method were in close agreement with the experimental results obtained in the case of the simplified model. In the case of the JR200 engine which has a rather small length/diameter ratio, the agreement of theorecical values with experimental values was not as close as in the case of the model. However, the theoretical analysis is considered useful in estimating and improving the vibration characteristics of a new engine, in the early stage of development. The experiments on the model with and without squeeze film damper bearing proved that a damper of this type is very effective in reducing the vibration amplitude at critical speeds. Theoretical analysis of the damper bearing effect on vibration characteristics was also conducted and compared with the experiment. The results show that the rotor support condition of the squeeze films damper bearing can be expressed in the analysis as a series connection of a spring and dash-pod. With regard to the JR200 engine, the squeeze film damper bearing has not as yet been tested, but according to engine analysis results, it is believed that effectiveness of the damper bearing on the real engine will be approximately the same as the model., 資料番号: NALTR0487000, レポート番号: NAL TR-487}, title = {ロータの不つりあいによって生ずるジェットエンジンの振動の研究 第1報 単軸エンジンに関する実験と理論解析}, year = {1977} }
