The high pressure ratio compressor(HPC) is one of the important components of the fan engine. Therefore, the improvement of HPC performance is essential to the improvement of fan engine performance, and more experiments are required for the research and development of HPC. For aerodynamic performance tests on HPC, test apparatuses were installed in the established compressor test facilities of the Aeroengine Division, National Aerospace Laboratory, in 1972. Test apparatuses for HPC such as the variable stator vane control system, the air bleeding apparatus, the measurement and monitoring system, etc. were set in the test cell and the control room of the compressor test facility, and were connected to the compressor drive system and the data processing system.
