| 内容記述 | A consideration of the anisotropic thermal conductivity of reinforcing fiber is one of the main points on the formulation of the problem. An analytical procedure similar to the calculation of the longitudinal shear modulus is employed here. Thermal conductivities of CFRP-UD and Epoxy resin are measured by using an apparatus based on the infra-red radiation method. The accuracy of these experimental data is guaranteed. Thermal conductivities of carbon fiber itself, which can hardly be measured directly, are estimated by combining these analytical and experimental results. Not only in the case of elastic moduli but also in that of thermal conductivity, it is clarified that the carbon fibers are highly anisotropic. A considerable difference between the analytical results is apparent for the two idealized fiber packing arrangements at large Vf similar to that in the case of the longitudinal shear modulus. | |||||||||
