| 内容記述 | A method of vibration analysis of spherical shells partially filled with a liquid is presented. The inertial loading of a liquid is taken into account in the form of an added mass coefficient. A simple formula for the added mass coefficient is derived in terms of the indices of the associated Legendre function of the first kind. The procedure of the analysis is based on the experimental findings. A satisfactory agreement is observed between the numerical results predicted by the present method and the experimental ones. This method will be used to gain insight into the physical properties of the spherical shell-fluid interaction problems. | |||||||||
