In order to design the 3rd storage vessel for the blow down wind tunnels at NAL, the air temperature in the old type storage vessel and in the settling chamber of the supersonic blow down wind tunnel was measured. Considering the results of these experiments, the structure of the simple capacity heat exchanger was designed to keep constant the temperature in the settling chamber.
