| 内容記述 | This report illustrates the activity carried out in the framework of the JAXA AO "Retrieval of soil moisture from PALSAR data". The activity focused on the use of time series of PALSAR data to retrieve soil moisture content over agricultural areas. The report firstly describes the algorithm adopted to transform quasi-dense time series of PALSAR ScanSAR images at HH polarization into soil moisture content. Then, the algorithm assessment on simulated and experimental data is presented. Results indicate the feasibility of retrieving volumetric soil moisture content with an accuracy between 5% and 6%. | |||||||||||
