| 内容記述 | Conventional synchronous motors using magnet materials have small ratios of output power to magnet volume, because magnet materials have small magnetic hysteresis loops or maximum energy products. The author has produced an experimental hysteresis rotor structure in which a ring made of radially-oriented anisotropic magnet material, Alnico 5 which has a large magnetic hysteresis loop, and a yoke made of inner steel are utilized. The prototype hysteresis motor has a large ratio of output power to magnet volume and a large starting torque as compared with conventional hysteresis motors. The author has proposed new rotor structures of synchronous motors (a hysteresis and a permanent-magnet-type synchronous motor) in which rare-earth cobalt magnet pieces are utilized. The prototype synchronous motors have larger ratios of output power to magnet volume than the hysteresis rotor made by radially-oriented anisotoropic Alnico 5. This paper presents the structure, torque analysis, torque characteristics and equivalent circuit of the synchronous condition of the prototype synchronous motors. A comparison of the hysteresis and the permanent-magnet-type synchronous motor is also given. | |||||||||
