| 内容記述 | The Properties of a turbulent jet issued into still fluid of the same density, are derived analytically through the assumptions that: (1)Mean velocity profile can be represented by Gaussian error curve; (2)Jet half-width is independent of exit conditions. Both plane and round jets are treated, and formulae on center-line velocity, entrainment and others are derived. Center-line velocity is much influenced by the exit conditions, especially by jet exit geometry. An exit momentum factor is introduced to correclate center-line velocity, and approximate values are given for practial flows. Furthermore, typical turbulence models are examined from the point of view of jet turbulence structure. | |||||||||
