| 内容記述 | The heights of ascent of rockets lounched at an angle of 85deg, reached over 60km above sea level. After the finish of the mission, during the descent to earth, the rocket flames are extinguished and the nozzles are crushed into small fragments by the atmospheric temperature to insure the safety of living things and agricultural crops on the earth. These rockets have three uses. (1)Weather Sounding Mission carrying ratio sondes. (2)Weather Modification Mission carrying silver-iodides. (3)Electric Wave Experiment Mission for radar carrying metal-chaff(otherwise carrying conduct-wires to the strato-cumulus for thunderbolt prevention.) The nozzles of these rockets, which are made of cermets, have been developed by the present author. The results of the firing test to crush the cermets nozzles are described in this paper. | |||||||||
