| 内容記述 | The turbulent diffusion properties of a nonhomogeneous jet issued into a quiescent fluid are analyzed in this paper. Instead of using a turbulence model, we make the empirical assumption that the width of a jet is independent of exit conditions and density difference. Formulae on axial velocity, temperature and concentration are dirived for round and plane jets, and compared with existing experimental data. The formulae are scaled by equivalent diameters that contain density effect. Considerations are given to the analytical assumptions and experimental data correlation. | |||||||||
