Numerical Methods are proposed for determining the transformation functions which map 1)the domain on the x+iy=z-plane bounded by two periodic functions y1(x)and y2(x)with a common period L onto an infinite strip-p≦η≦p on ξ+iη=ζ-plane and 2)the semi-infinite domain on the z-plane bounded by a periodic function y1(x)onto the half ζ-plane η≦0. These methods are also applicable to the conformal mapping of 3)the double connected region bounded by two concentric closed curves and 4)regions exterior or interior to a closed curve. |
