The nutational motion of the spacecraft can be detected by the position sensors of the magnetic bearing servo system with a sufficient accuracy without using any of the spacecraft attitude sensors. An intensive cross-coupling method between the two axes to reduce the nutation is proposed and the control system is analyzed in detail.
