| 内容記述 | A method of grid generation around an obstacle is proposed in this paper. In this method, the obstacle is assumed to be in a potential flow, which is readily analysed by the panel method. Grids are made up by drawing stream lines and equi-potential lines, and therefore, they are naturally body-fitted and orthogonal.Calculation of the potential which is induced by vortices is explained in some detail, since it often becomes the major source of errors in the application of this method. The grid, of either H-type or O-type, is generated by assuming the corresponding potential flow around the obstacle. The C-type grid can also be obtained as a particular case of the O-type grid. Further application of this method includes generation of grids which cover a region whose outer boundary is assigned, and the region around multi-element obstacles. | |||||||||
