内容記述 | Wind tunnel test results obtained in the FY85 experiments on flutter control are presented in this paper. The test was conducted in the NAL 5.5×6.5 m Low-speed wind tunnel by the ACT study group. The wing model used in the tests assumes a future type of energy efficient transport. It has two control surfaces, one at the leading edge and the other at the trailing edge. Various control laws based on the LQG theory were implemented and tested with either control surface after reducing the order of the laws. The results showed a prominent effect of the leading edge control surface on flutter suppression. The maximum increase in flutter speed was 9.7% of the violent bending-torsion flutter. For the test, a special device was installed in the wind tunnel to prevent this highly mechanical model from being destroyed, which enabled us to execute very efficient tests. | |||||||||
