To create such a microgravity environmet, various techniques have been attempted using a drop tower, and flights on space shuttle, rocket, aircraft, and from balloon, each of which has been successfully applied for the purpose of the respective experimental surveys. Among these types, the drop tower test rig has the capability of easily repeating the required experiments at an appropriate low gravity level, though the duration of microgravity is not long. The present report describes an improved drop tower method to better yeild a low gravity environmet and an effective dampning of landing shock for more accurate measurements during very short drop testing on the order of one second., 資料番号: NALTR0991000, レポート番号: NAL TR-991}, title = {Improved Drop Tower Performance for Microgravity Environment Experiments}, year = {1988} }
