The relationship between the sensor accuracy and the accuracy of the estimated motion was investigated. Motion estimation accuracy was evaluated using the Riccati equation covariance matrix obtained from the Kalman filler. The relation between the accuracy of the velocity and acceleration sensors and the motion estimation accuracy was subsequently derived numerically.
