JAXA and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries have developed SOI-SOC3, the first general-purpose space-grade CPU that supports SpW-R in hardware. For standardization of SpW-R, interoperability tests of SpW-R protocol between SOI-SOC3 and software implementation (SpaceR) developed by ITTI were conducted in March 2019 to verify whether the protocol in specification can be implemented without ambiguity.
