Initial disturbances with only u(sub r), u(sub θ) and u(sub x) velocity components are compared. The numerical results show that the inflow disturbance of the only u(sub r) component is easily accepted into the jet as the helical mode than the case of the only u(sub θ) component and u(sub x) component without azimuthal wave number dependency. In addition, the magnitudes of the pressure fluctuations emitted from the jet are approximately equal when the diffusion start time of the jet is the same.
