 note = {人工衛星等の宇宙のデータを使って地球の課題を解決するハッカソンイベントNASA InternationalSpace Apps Challenge (SpaceApps)が，2012 年より毎年開催されている．2020 年の年初より始まった新型コロナウイルス感染症 (COVID-19) の拡大を背景とし，宇宙データを使ったCOVID-19対策を行うバーチャルハッカソンイベントSpaceApps COVID-19 Challengeが急遽企画され，2020 年5 月に開催された．イベントはオンラインでの開催となり，日本では，日本地域の参加者向けに過去のSpaceAppsのオーガナイザが中心となってイベントのサポートを行った．本稿では，SpaceApps COVID-19 Challengeの開催の背景と概要，オンラインツールを活用した開催支援方法，結果と課題についてまとめる．, The NASA International Space Apps Challenge (SpaceApps) has been held annually since 2012. Space Apps is a hackathon event that utilizes satellite data to solve global issues. In response to the expansion of COVID-19, the SpaceApps COVID-19 was urgently held in May 2020. This COVID-19 event is a virtual hackathon event for COVID-19 countermeasures utilizing satellite data. In Japan, the organizers of past SpaceApps events played a role in supporting this COVID-19 event for participants in the Japanese region.
