光学望遠鏡2台を用いた静止衛星の位置観測を行っており、得られた画像データはウェッブ上に公開している(※URLは下記参照)。また可動基線電波干渉計よる静止衛星の位置測定も実施しているが、測定精度が5/1000度と低いため、精度が1/1000度である光学望遠鏡の画像データを干渉計のキャリブレーションとしても利用している。一方、光学望遠鏡の精度は現状の1/10程度が目標であることから、この度システム全体を見直したところ、望遠鏡駆動系、撮像カメラ本体、データ解析プロセスにおいて改良すべき項目が認められた。本発表では、現在の望遠鏡システムおよび検討中の改修プランについてまとめる。
